Græni hatturinn concert venue is positioned in the basement of over 100 years old house in downtown Akureyri, and although the venue is small and doesn’t look much from the outside it’s become known as one of the best concert venues in Iceland.

The book contains a visual history of the venue, with photographs of some of the most important Icelandic musicians along with some guests from abroad. The photographers are Daníel Starrason, Skapti Hallgrímsson and Þórhallur Jónsson and was made in collaboration with Haukur Tryggvason, the owner of Græni hatturinn.

The book is available at Græni hatturinn and local photography store Pedromyndir in Akureyri. It’s also available in Eymundsson bookstores around Iceland.
